Bridge, Rummy, Canasta - design flipsides
Bridge is a trick-taking card game of skill and chance (the relative proportions depending on the variant played). It is played by four players who form two partnerships; the partners sit opposite each other at a table. The game consists of the auction (often called bidding) and play, after which the hand is scored.
Piatnik has the largest sortiment of bridge decks worldwide.
Rummy is a group of card games notable for gameplay based on the matching of similar playing cards. David Parlett (The Penguin Book of Card Games, 1978) describes the Mexican game of Conquian as being ancestral to all rummy games.
Canasta is a card game originating in Uruguay, in which players attempt to make melds of 7 cards of the same rank, and "go out" by playing all cards in their hand and discarding. It is commonly played by four players in two partnerships with two standard decks of cards, but many variations exist for 2-3 and 6-player games or teams.
